Well that was Christmas. I opened all my presents myself.
Pam and Ewen were INCREDIBLY proud of me. It's actually great fun, once you get the hang of it. You need to use paws and teeth and shaking. I got squeaky toys, homemade gluten free cheese bones and shortbread.
I also got a Christmas jumper/coat! Not so sure about that but it keeps me warm when I'm out so no real complaints.
Foods been good and I get myself in and out of the new car. Feeling chuffed. Her Ladyship has stopped all the yowling which is a HUGE bonus. Long walks in places we haven't been for a while. Fantastic. New Year next.

We had a lovely, family Christmas. We had people in for Christmas breakfast which meant Magnus and I got some scrambled eggs and salmon. Then we had a big walk and then we had people in for dinner at night, which meant Magnus and I got some steak. Auntie Lexi brought some steak up in morning too. All round good food.
I don't do present opening. It is far too vigorous a pastime for a ladylike dog. All that tossing the parcel up in the air and shaking it. Not for me. I did like the presents though, particularly my new, red, Christmas jumper with Bambis on it it. A spot-on choice for a Deerhound of my colouring. The red contrasts well with my hair.
The new car is proving a bonus. I elegantly glide in and out. Big Boy sometimes needs a wee lift because his big paws slip.
New Year next. MMMMM. That generally means a lot of people getting very loud.

Big paws up to our pal Kohl. His owners, Craig and Carol, had a wee girl on Christmas Eve. Apart from the occasional whimpers, Kohl says she's great and he can see the chance of some extra food getting thrown his way. Congratulations to you all.
By the way, always look after your teeth. A chew on a suitably sized stick works wonders, and you can share!
