LAZY DAYS
Morris : Don't know if it was all the excitement last week or all the jumping through long grass, but we are both utterly exhausted. It's been quite warm and humid as well. Anyway we have done a lot of sleeping.
Mabel : I have a genuine excuse for resting up. I didn't just cut my pad, I sliced it. Resting up all I can. But then I had a peripheral vision mishap yesterday morning. Ran into a tree. Too busy chasing Morris!!!

PARTY! PARTY!
Mabel : Pam's been away so we had early mornings at Seacliffs beach. The sand is brilliant on the paws but I think I cut my paw on a rock so I have a bit of a sore pad and am limping a bit.
I got to kiss my birth mother on Saturday. We all met up again for our third birthday. It was brilliant. Brothers and sisters together and no bickering at all. We just ran and ran and chased and played and lay in the shade and ate cake. It was magnificent. Mum is looking well but has lost one of her toes. Saw my sister Marla and my brothers MacTavish and Norman, my Mum Doris and Aunt Misty and Mac's friend Simon.
Morris : The beach was great. We even had breakfast there. Then Ewen had friends up for dinner and it as a warm night so we lay outside on the beds Pam got us. It was lovely and cool so we didn't want to come back in.
Meeting up with the family was awesome. I was the biggest one there because Bran couldn't make it. His family had a boiler problem, I hope he's back next year. It was really great to see Norman and Mac again, and Simon. That boy has ADHD. The ladies were lovely too but I got my nose just about bitten off for sniffing my Mum and sister??????

ROADSHOW!
Mabel and Morris: We have had a busy week of early walks and great runs. We are also thoroughly enjoying our hare. Brilliant food. We are writing this together because we are too tired to think about writing individually. These 4-5am walks are very tiring and because the weather has been cold and wet it's lovely to get cuddled back into bed. Our one piece of note is getting our pictures taken at the Antiques Roadshow at Thirlestane Castle. Once again we were much admired, shown valuable drawings of ancestors and met a really gorgeous wee version of us. Knackered when we got home after all the attention, stroking and kisses.

RIVERWALKS.
Mabel: Had a fantastic walk along the Leader the other day. We haven't been there since we were pups. A lot of trees were still down from Storm Arwen. This time it's all been tidied up. We ran in the trees, we paddled and we chased things. It was brillant. Pam and Ewen used to come here a lot with Magnus and Mirren. The first and the last time we went we were followed by a very strange, aggressive man, who scared the living daylights out of us. He wasn't there this time!! Phew.
Morris : I loved that walk. It just has everything. We also had a really good run the other evening when I raised a hare along the railway line. Mabel was busy elsewhere and almost missed the chase. Also, still a bit in love with Angel, I thought I'd better up my look. I'm copying Ewen. Mr Cool.
