Magnus 23rd November

Yesterday was very peaceful.  I have to admit a certain wave of unsettledness when I realised that Her Ladyship was missing.  However, she returned, as bossy as ever but very stoned.  Took over the couch and did the whole drama queen thing all of last night and today.  Looked a bit crossed eyed a lot of the time.  Think it must be the pain killers.  One good thing was the venison Pam for our tea tonight because The Diva won't eat.  Brilliant.

Well that was an experience.  No puppies for me.  Don't know how I feel.  Actually, I'm not feeling very much.  I am very tired and everything is very woozy.  Getting a lot of cuddles and I think they are on a serious guilt trip, particularly Pam.  She assures me it's for my own good.  The venison WAS very tasty and I'm wearing a very natty jumper.  I can't fasten the straps of my coat because of my stitches and my tummy is shaved bare.  It's -3C so I've got a fuzzy jumper on.  Very cozy.  Think I'd better stroll off and get up on the bed.  That's if I can focus properly.

Magnus 21st November

Well, things have really taken a turn for winter. -7C this morning.  Brrrr.  I like my warm couch.  Need to wrap up.  Pam keeps saying we are house, central heating dogs and that we will feel the cold.  I totally agree.  Nothing too ridiculous.  We are dogs, not fashion accessories - just a fleece lined, hi-viz, waterproof.
Ewen has been away in Paris.  No bombs this year but I'm so pleased he's home safe.  It was okay this time.  I didn't get stressed out and Pam looked after me very well.  Lots of cuddles to make up for him being away.

Very nippy out.  I, personally, prefer my couch and a cuddle.  For once I agree with Big Boy, I need my coat.  I get lost really easily because I blend in when it's dark.  Big Boy stands out like a polar bear but i just disappear.....like a ghost.
Going to see Colin tomorrow.  Not sure if I should be excited.  Think I'll wait and see.

Magnus re 25th October

Mentioning Christmas reminded me about us having Morganistmus on the 25th October.  There were ten of us for dinner.  We got presents.  We got some Morganistmus food.  Toys are great.  Food made me fart!
Magnus 11th November

Well, we survived Hallowe'en and Bonfire Night.  Did have a bit of a fright on the 5th, when I heard a big bang, but Pam and Ewen had the curtains closed, the fire on and the TV up loud.  We all cuddled down in the wee sitting room and ignored it all.  So, phew, that's them over now for another year.  I really don't like Bonfire night.  It is really not nice for us animals.  Hate to think what it must be like for the horses, sheep and cows.  They have to be outside.  At least I had someone to snuggle into.  And I got ham for being brave.  Bring on Christmas.

I, personally, don't know what the fuss is about.  You ignore the door if "Guisers" come.  I am Scottish.  We go guising, NOT trick or treating.  Glad to see the return of the tumshie lantern.  Pumpkins don't come from Scotland.  Anyway, firework night was fine.  I stretched out on the couch and chilled.  Big Boy did get a bit of fright with one big bang.  However, I have to remember his dislike all started when some inconsiderate human decided to have an impromptu birthday party near us, without letting us know.  Magnus was outside having a pee when a firework went off about twenty feet from him.  He hasn't been the same since.  Boomer, the Newfoundland from next door, was in the same position.  His owners were very unhappy and I think they barked loudly about the affair.  So, an element of sympathy for the big guy.  Thumbs down to unthinking humans.
