Mirren 31st March

I am so tired.  I get up really early so I can get walked before other people get up.  The clocks going forward hasn't helped because it's dark again.  Then I get another long walk later on.  Only good thing is they are both at home and I get taken out by each of them.  They forget that means I have had two big walks and I'm 91/2 now which is getting on a bit.  (Though I am still beautiful and look far younger than my years.)

Mirren 23rd March
I have had my paws walked off. They are both at home.  Schools are closed and Ewen's work has been cut as a driver and our studio is shut.  Since we are not in total lockdown yet, but Pam says, due to the utter moronic behaviour of the population we soon might be.  She wants to keep away from people in case she picked anything up at school.  Both of them have had me out in the wee hours for a good walk.  I am exhausted.  I did remember to buy Pam some flowers for Mother's Day.  She was very pleased and gave me a venison and duck sausage.  My favourites.  Hope they don't run out!! Oh my goodness think I need to panic buy!!  Hahahahaha

Mirren 16th March

Had a lovely, long walk this morning.  We went to Leaderfoot.  Haven't been there in ages.  It was a tad muddy but my boots helped.  We went all the way to the pool where Magnus used to play with Ewen.  I miss him but Pam and Ewen are very good at giving me cuddles and making me feel better. I was very hungry when I got home.  It's all very odd with people just now.  They are all talking about some virus which apparently, I won't get.  Not losing any sleep over it then.

Mirren 8th March

It's all a bit bonkers here. Everyone is worried about coronavirus.  It's moved from snakes to people.  I wonder if I can get it?  Will dogs get it?  Half of Lauder went to Italy to see the rugby!!

It's all a bit tricky.  My big question is, "Why the panic buying of loo roll"???  Anyway, Ewen and I went for our first long, picnic walk of the year.  It was glorious.  Blue skies, crisp, no-one else about.  Then I had an early morning nibble of venison sausage and lamb Wolf of the Wilderness.  What a way to start the day.

Mirren 3rd March

Isn't time flying along.  After weeks of wind, rain, snow and sleet we seem to be heading in to spring.  I do hope I've not spoken too quickly.   Paid a visit to Wooplaw today and the kind people have planted new trees near Magnus's axe head.  Everything will blend into the woodland beautifully.  It's been ages since I've been there.  Thoroughly enjoyed my trot round the woods.  Less windy than the golf course!!!
