Mmmmmmm. Not getting free range on the bed anymore. Well, during the day it's okay but not at night. Apparently my weight/push technique is too good and Pam and Ewen are not getting any room. Personally, I don't see what the problem is. They have this lovely furry throw ALL over the bed. It takes me back to my puppyhood when I could snuggle up to my brothers and sisters. Where are they now, I wonder??
Got a fright at breakfast today. My bowl jumped at me. Very scary. Pam had to hold my dish for me. Phew. Can't miss breakfast. People don't warn you about jumping bowls.
Been splashing in the water with Ewen at Abbotsford. Mirren wouldn't come in. Too wet and cold for her.
Tuesday 20th January Mirren
Pam thinks I might be allergic to ham. They've been giving me chicken instead. Trust me. I am not complaining and my itchy eye seems to be getting better. Things are much happier now Big Boy is okay. I would have missed him. Who would I boss around and bite. Pam and Ewen wouldn't let me away that kind of behaviour on a two-legs.
He can be an idiot though. His food dish wasn't properly in it's holder and when he went to eat it fell in to the right place. He jumped back and stood and looked at it as if a cat had got his food. Pam just mothered him better. This sort of thing happens when you are a breed that needs raised food dishes. Bit surprised it put him off his food. Nothing usually does that.
I do not get my paws wet. He should know that by now. We got to wear our tweed coats with the deer antler buttons. Very smart.
