We've been really busy. We all got in the mobile kennel and went off to the Yorkshire Moors for a few days. It was great.
We walked for miles in Dalby Forest. We had pit stops over Jerry Noddle. We walked along the front at North Bay Scarborough. I was much admired. When we were in Pickering lots of people took pictures of me. We were also allowed in Rievaulx Abbey. I felt quite at home at all these castles and abbeys.
When we were at Helmsley, I went round a corner and walked straight into another dog my size. She was a Great Dane. Good grief she was attractive. Black and white and grey. Beautiful big girl. Tried to be friendly but I suppose it was never going to work.. her down there and me up here. Oh well, it was nice while it lasted. We stayed in a
lovely house called Little Duck Cottage, in Burniston. I even managed the stairs. I like going on holidays and seeing and meeting new people. Mirren was just herself!!!!!! Says it all. She has pants on again which made her even grumpier than usual. She gets really nippy when it's pants time.

The holiday was very nice. It being pants time was a bit of a nuisance but I didn't have to wear them when
I was out. The walks were magnificent but I chose to stay close to Pam and Ewen. I always feel a bit insecure when it's pants time. Pam says she's a bit concerned cause I'm a month early. Might get to see Colin. Can't really complain because Harry is interested again. What a boy. Anyway, back to our trip. I do have to admit that Big Boy does draw in the attention. We got a lot of it in Scarborough. I was always polite and friendly and stuck my nose in everyone-who-patted-me's crotch. I really like to do a full charm offensive. Big Boy isn't so good at talking to strangers so I have to make up for it. He may draw them in but it's me that gets them chatting. It was really funny seeing him meet that Great Dane girl. He didn't know where to look first. I just stood aside and let them get on with it. The trip was great fun and, as usual, we travelled in great comfort. But I like being home again.
