LEGS.

Mabel: We've been a bit busy and I have to rest my hip and paw and haven't had time to type up reports. Katie got married and looked gorgeous, as we knew she would. Hopefully, I'll be seeing her soon because I'm getting physio on my hip, just like Morris did 5 years ago when he did his hip. Same hip!! We've been away to Corbridge. Stayed in a lovely hotel called "The Duke of Wellington" in Newton. They had great sausages and it was really nice to get away. We didn't want to leave. We got lots of attention when we went to Corbridge and to the Roman Camp just outside. Lovely time. I just want off my lead.

Morris : Corbridge was brilliant. Pam said any Roman dogs would probably look like us. Apparently, Greyhound types and Salukis are probaby the oldest and least changed types of dogs. We had our pictures taken umpteen times. It's very flattering. Mabel continues to mump and moan about being on the lead. She really doesn't deal with being on the lead very well. I was very careful when I did my hip. She doesn't give a jot. Practised catching the other morning. Mabel doesn't bother unless a biscuit is definitely going her way.
